Jim Guter's Big Band is one of the Chicago area's most exciting jazz ensembles. The Band is based in Naperville and performs throughout Chicagoland in such towns as: Chicago, Berwyn, Geneva, Wheaton, Carol Stream, Elmhurst, Addison, Joliet, Downers Grove, St. Charles, Arlington Heights, Melrose Park, Streamwood, Bloomingdale, Warrenville, and Westmont. Jim's musicians have quickly developed a great reputation. Whether performing straight-ahead jazz, big band classics, latin favorites, or swing dance charts, the band is a great entertainment option for your event or establishment. Jim Guter's Combos offers a variety of smaller ensembles including a Quartet, Trio and Duo with a vocalist for more intimate settings and events. In addition to frequent appearances at area benefits and jazz festivals, the band hosts a few recurring evenings of big band music and dancing.
