The Jim Guter Trio recently performed at our 25th anniversary celebration. Our guests ranged from ages 21 to 95 but his wide repertoire of classic jazz is able to transcend generations. The trio and vocalist created a magical moment when they performed a song we had composed 15 years earlier for our 10th anniversary. If you're considering a DJ for your event - think again. There's nothing like live music to make a special occasion truly memorable. Jim is a real professional. I highly recommend contacting him if you're looking for great entertainment and a great value.

I had the pleasure of hosting the Jim Guter Trio at the Naperville Public Library for a special Valentine's Day program. The music and artistry of all three performers made me feel as if I were in a great little jazz club and not in a Library. They were so good, in fact, that many of our patrons asked that they come back soon...but to include martinis next time! They were wonderful, and the vocalist has such a richly nuanced voice that it added an extra level to the performance.
